COMPOSING

The music comes into existence inside me and changes within me. I listen carefully - write her down. Debug the material. Convert the score to a PDF file - encrypt and save. Just as you store new wines safely at long racks.

APPROVING

The music is a few or often many years out of sight and ear that way. At the intervening time I change of course, and one day I pick up the music and listen carefully once again with new ears. Dispose of it, revise it, or approve it as it is.

Then I have my approved work registered with International Standard Musical Work Code (ISWC) - sealed and delegated my international agencies.

PREPARING

Then I establish a layout, extract parts and may produce PB samples so it's prepared to be played or sung, and I release it for public performance on normal conditions: exclusive or open license.

And thank you for the great interest in my music and its performances.

I have done in that way with many of my early works, such as orchestral works here on the "Orchestra, Symphonic Music" page.

A process that takes about the time as does it composing a whole new equivalent work. Preparing music is an office task great many skilled people around the world can do excellent. But nobody on this globe could, can or come to write music like the one I compose.

PERFORMING

Therefore, I feel strongly tempted to write new music, postponing the paperwork with finished compositions. They'll probably get through all in good time.

However, when a work has been approved, but not yet prepared, I might put it on this "documentation page" under open license all the same.

This means my work can be verified by anyone who has with music to do, it can even be taken down and performed in public as usual by anyone who likes.

Of course you can wait until the score has been prepared.  

Or you can take down score in PDF and MUSX formats - extracting parts and PB sound - rehearse
and perform. MUSX files can be opened by the music notation program Finale.

Or, if the score is available in PDF only, you can scan and convert it into, for example a MUSX file - extract parts and audio - rehearse and perform.

Allowed to make copies for that purpose and for private use.
